MEET OUR PRACTITIONER

Stacey M. Frawley

Advance Practice Holistic Nurse, BC* – Adult Nurse Practitioner, BC* Functional Medicine Practitioner – Mindfulness Trained Teacher Doctorate in Education (EdD)

As a health visionary with extensive experience working with individuals and small groups, my mission at CenterLine Wellness is to provide a personalized, holistic approach based on a person’s specific needs to obtain the best results possible. During my 25 years working in the medical field, I have recognized a pattern whereby people seek healthcare to rid themselves of symptoms and the results vary widely! MANY are left frustrated, and still looking for a solution to their dis-ease. Personally, I have become disenchanted with the practice of “a pill for an ill”.

My personal goal is to honor the uniqueness of each individual by providing personalized attention, customized solutions and to educate, inspire, and empower those I have the pleasure to work with. I believe in the importance of people fully understanding their unique interconnected system and how it relates to their ailment. Through learning about your distinct scientifically complex body – how the intricate mind influences action – and the impact of spirit or purpose on general health, you will uncover how each component synergistically works to boost and/or suppress health and wellness.

I do not believe in working with algorithms or protocols, but instead, take each individual body and their unique interconnected system into account. I care deeply about connection and allowing others to be heard. Together, we identify root causes and support the body in healing. Using an evidence-based functional medicine approach, I am excited to uncover and share with those I have the honor of working with, the science behind their symptoms as I support them on an individualized plan for remission and sustainability.

As a graduate of Hofstra University, I earned a Doctor of Education Degree in Human Development and Educational Psychology and serve as Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing at Stony Brook University for the past 12 years. Clinically, I am dually Board Certified as an Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse and Adult Nurse Practitioner, having earned a Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Stony Brook. Furthering my passion to serve the community in discovering root cause of dis-ease, I have completed training in functional medicine at The School of Applied Functional Medicine. I am also a certified instructor in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, an AHA-approved instructor for CPR, and a NYS Certifying Practitioner for Medical Marijuana.

MEET OUR Functional Nutrition Coach

Andrew Sora

I have always been drawn to teaching and coaching. As a martial arts expert and longtime sport jiu-jitsu coach and competitor, I have guided hundreds of clients over the years to become stronger, healthier, and happier. I achieved my 8th degree Master’s rank in Okinawan Karate. Training in martial arts also led me to explore the health and recovery benefits of focused breath work and functional nutrition. Breathing methods to cultivate calmness, restore energy, and promote mindfulness have been part of my practice for over two decades. I feel grateful knowing I have been a participant / leader / coach in the lives of my clients as they overcame fears, reduced stress, improved nutrition intake, and became more mindful in their daily lives.

My formal degree in education, time as a martial arts Sensei, and continued passion to help others live the best version of their lives on and off the mat has carried into my functional nutrition coaching. I am continually excited to meet new individuals who are contemplating adding empowering goals to their life. Together we will achieve success in new skills and develop a vibrant sense of well-being. CenterLine Wellness is here for you and ready for you to start the journey to optimal and sustainable health.

Our Mission

To strengthen and optimize the health of individuals by investing energy and time to apply the highest quality, science-based approaches to identify root causes of imbalance and then restore harmony in the body.

Our goal is to honor the individual by providing personalized attention and customized solutions. Together, we identify root causes and support the body in healing.

The Difference

Each person is unique, and what may be causing migraines or anxiety or insomnia in one person, is quite likely different than the root cause(s) for another person.

Using a conventional approach, a patient with eczema may be provided medication to help calm the irritated area; in functional medicine, the practitioner evaluates for potential root causes, including key levels of vitamins and minerals. Systems would be explored, including endocrine (thyroid function), digestive/GI (diet, allergies, etc.), emotional/psychological stress factors, and lifestyle, as well as exploring potential dermatological issues that could be causing eczema.

At CenterLine Wellness, we can do all of the above while taking time to educate and answer questions; this approach to healthcare empowers the individual to take back control of their own health.
